Bobbi leads wildflower hike at Beth LakeEden Valley Guest Ranch has a few miles of hiking and horseback riding trails and great mountain biking for the beginner.  We have ingress/egress for responsible ATV riders wishing to use local multi-use USFS trails.  It is the trail users' responsibility to obtain and use the USFS Travel Plan.

The Okanogan Highlands of north central Washington are over 75% publicly owned.  Most areas of the public lands have trail systems of various sorts that are open to multiple use.  Trail use is sparse here and users seem to get along just fine.

The US Forest Service Travel Plan for our area can be obtained by contacting the Tonasket Ranger District.  The Chesaw Game Farm is owned by Washington State Dept. of Fish & Wildlife.  The Pacific Northwest Trail goes nearby to Eden Valley Guest Ranch.  A few miles away are Washington State Dept. of Natural Resource lands and United States Bureau of Land Management lands.  Web searches may provide information on hiking or mountain biking for the Tonasket and Oroville areas.  The Chambers for Oroville and Tonasket, WA have maps and brochures of the north Okanogan.

Eden Valley Guest Ranch Guests receive free maps upon check-in and guests may discuss trip ideas with a quick phone call.

North Central Washington Trails for Hiking, Horses, and Mountain Biking

Public land borders Eden Valley Guest Ranch in the Okanogan Highlands of north central Washington for a couple miles, offering multi-use trails for trail riding, mountain biking and miles more of hiking trails.  We understand there are some ATV trails and a planning activity is underway that will effect all use.  In support of our trail and road systems on the public lands, I must say I see considerable animal tracks using the same.  I spend a great deal of time on the trails and wild animals like to save energy and use the trails and roads when they can.  They do not go through down fall timber and they don't like excessively muddy areas either.  So our culverted trail system is not only great for humans, the wildlife like it too.  We also like the wildfire barriers which are important when these USFS blocks are only a few miles across with private lands and structures all around them.
