NEW in 2015 - Ice Fishing Festival moved to January 17th to avoid shrimp hatch.  Old timers reflect on history of fishing Sidley Lake and say the ice fishing is better in January.  Reports on 2014 late fall fishing were good.  The Oroville Chamber committee has high expectations for a great fish catching contest with fun Highland entertainment, good food and friendly hosts.

Eden Valley Guest Ranch is 6-miles south of the event area.  Call us for cabin information and reservations for your family.

Over $3,000 in prizes and awards including a $500 grand prize will be given out at Oroville’s Annual Ice Fishing Festival at Molson.  Activities in the Molson Grange Hall include a deluxe breakfast, arts & crafts fair, bingo, lunch by Sitzmark, raffle prizes and more.  Our second annual Pinewood Derby features over $200 in prizes.  That’s January 17th!
