Motorcycle Roads in North Central Washington and Okanogan Highlands

Highway 97 follows the river grades and has no big grades between Wenatchee and Oroville near the Canadian Border.  It has wide shoulders and good sight distance compared to other routes.  There are many asphalt roads branching off of Highway 97 that intersect with others to make interesting motorclyle touring routes.

Eden Valley Lane is packed for motorcycles and bicycles.Once in Okanogan County, the roads that branch off Highway 97 are more narrow with sometimes no shoulders.  Surface treatments vary from paved to primitive so plan your trip accordingly.  Some asphalt roads have steep grades and tight curves.  In places, wildlife (especially deer) and cattle may be on the roadways.  The scenery is terrific and changes around every corner.

Eden Valley Guest Ranch provides nightly lodging and our lane is maintained in a packed condition for motorcycles and bicycles.  We provide catering for groups of 12 persons or more or we can suggest  other meal options.

We have some maps available of possible asphalt motorcyle routes to help group ride coordinators planning a trip to north central Washington and beyond.
